Multiply a Vector

You can multiply all the entries of a vector by a number.

Enter the number in the box under Multiply and then click Multiply. The result appears in the bottom center of the window.

This is often called Scalar Multiplication, or Scalar Product.

A vector can multiply another vector with the same dimension: this is Dot Product.

And a three-dimensional vector can multiply a three-dimensional to make another vector: this is Cross-Product.
